2017.2.4 Security Fix
    • Fixed a security vulnerability in communicating with web services.
    • Upgraded AdWebService to enable alternate user authentication methods.
2017.2.3 Update
  • Annotation
    • Fixed an issue in which tags moved when a linked file was reloaded.
  • Export DWG
    • Fixed an issue where exporting a sheet with section views to DWG would result in some blocks being shifted away from their correct position in the DWG file.
  • Print
    • Print dialog is no longer disabled when choosing the Print to PDF print driver on a system running the Windows 10 Anniversary Edition.
2017.2.2 Update
  • Annotation
    • Improved display of generic annotation within families when placed above color filled region, such as a room or area.
  • Families
    • Improved the stability of project files when copy-pasting families across documents.
  • File Open/ Save/ Upgrade
    • Fixed an issue that could cause unresolved pointer references errors when opening files.
  • Keynotes
    • Fixed an issue to improve the accuracy of keynotes near the crop region boundary.
    • Improved consistency for keynotes when the numbering method is set to By Sheet and elements exist above the view cut plane.
  • User Interface
    • Improved stability when pressing and holding the mouse button and interacting with the Properties panel on button release.

  • Annotation
    • Improves the readability of rotated text in printed documents and PDF files.
    • Improves stability when using temporary UI controls in an active viewport on a sheet.
  • Family
    • Corrects an issue in which some families have no check box in the Purge Unused dialog.
  • Import/Export/Link DWF
    • Corrects an issue when exporting multiple views to individual DWF files resulted in failed creation of certain views.
  • Levels
    • Improves stability when selecting levels.
  • Materials
    • Improves stability when edit the texture alignment for a material.
  • Rendering
    • Improves stability when edit the Initial Color for a lighting source.
2017.2 Update
  • Align
    • Improves stability when aligning structural elements in plan view.
  • Annotation
    • Corrects an issue with scaling of the Operating System text, so that it no longer has any effects text within a view.
    • Improves stability when using calculated parameter in an annotation tag label.
  • Family
    • Corrects an issue where instances of shared nested families were not updating when more than one level deep.
    • Corrects an issue which prevented type duplication of families with shared project parameters associated to formula driven family parameters.
  • File Open/ Save/ Upgrade
    • Corrects an issue which causes model corruption when enabling work-sharing and replacing an existing model.
    • Improves stability when opening project which contains model corruption.
  • Graphics
    • Improves stability when you by double-click to edit a family from the Work Plane Viewer.
  • Import/Export
    • Corrects the display of some imported DWG files in section views.
    • Adds the option to set the color for the hatch pattern background when exporting to DWG/DXF.
    • Adds the option to export to DWG/DXF and DGN in True Color (RGB Values), as specified in the view.
  • Keynotes
    • Corrects an issue in which Keynotes By Sheet could lose their numerical value.
  • Materials
    • Improves stability when working with the Material Browser and Paint tool.
  • Projects
    • Improves stability when mirroring a project.
    • Improves stability when Load Types are copied between projects or transferred with project standards.
  • Options
    • Corrects an issue which prevented a newly added path in the Options dialog from being saved correctly.
    • Improves stability when adding keyboard shortcuts for a command with an empty Paths field.
  • Rendering
    • Corrects an issue where an error message was presented when rendering with a transparent background in the cloud.
  • User Interface
    • For the UK terminology, corrects missing User Interface components which were introduced with Revit 2017.1 update.
    • Improves stability when right clicking on the drop down list when changing a view reference.
    • Changes the keyboard shortcut for the Location tool from "L" to "O" in the Manage and Analyze tabs to avoid a conflict.
    • Corrects an issue in which the Space Naming tool dialog display did not scale correctly when DPI is set above 100%.

    • FBX
        Contains an update to the FBX SDK and provides a number of security improvements related to processing FBX, DAE, 3DS, and DXF format files.
  • Graphics
    • Fixed crash when closing Revit on some systems using a hardware Direct3D device.
  • Export DWF
    • Fixed an issue that caused the ViewCube, SteeringWheels, and the navigation bar to disappear after exporting the model to DWFx.

    • Improves performance when exporting to DWG.
  • Graphics
    • Corrects an issue in which zoomed views could occasionally cause the display of a mirrored selection in the text editor.

    • Improves stability of the Material Browser when materials are edited.
    • Improves stability of the Paint tool and the Materials Browser.
  • Part Elements
    • Adds the ability to export ODBC elements in Parts category.
  • Print
    • Corrects an issue where elements from a linked file would erroneously disappear on printing.
  • Security
    • Addresses a vulnerability where a specially crafted raster image in a project can trigger unauthorized code execution.
  • Upgrade
    • Improves stability when upgrading files which contain some corruption.
    • Improves stability during upgrade when a host and linked model(s) are specified transmitted by eTransmit.
  • View
    • Improves stability when trying to activate a view that no longer exists.
    • Improves stability when creating a View Template from a dependent view that contained a plan region.

    • Correct an issue where an alignment lock would not appear when using the align tool with the centerline of wall cores.
  • Annotation
    • Corrects an issue with complex fonts not displaying correctly on Microsoft Windows 10.
    • Corrects an issue were text nested in a family would not print via raster printing.
  • Assembly
    • Corrects an issue that caused identical copies of an assembly, within copies of a mass, to incorrectly get new names.
  • DirectShapes
    • Corrects an issue where Purge Unused could show some DirectShape element types that were still in use.
  • Family
    • Improves stability when upgrading a project which contains corrupted elements.
    • Improved stability when working with families which contain invalid IDs.
  • Graphics
    • Improves stability during graphics regeneration.
  • Linked Files
    • Improves stability during upgrade in Revit LT when a host and linked model(s) are set to have been transmitted by eTransmit.
  • Materials
    • Improves stability when material folder is not found.
    • Improves stability and slow performance of the materials browser caused by poor performance during rendering of material thumbnail previews.
    • Improved stability when closing the Material Browser dialog.
    • Improves stability when copying families with an incorrect material definition.
  • Railing
    • Improves stability when sketching stair elements.
  • Snap
    • Improves stability when the view extents minimum is greater than the maximum.
  • User Interface
    • Improves stability of the Ribbon and WPF components when the workstation does not properly support WPF's use of Hardware Acceleration.

    • Improves stability when associating a view filter with grid filtering based upon project parameters.
    • Corrects an issue causing the keyboard shortcut for View Range to incorrectly allow modification of the View Range when a View Template is applied to the view.

    • Corrects visibility of the Associate Family Parameter tooltip.
    • Corrects an issue which allows the association of global parameters to built-in family type parameters before a value has been entered into the family type parameter.
  • Print
    • Corrects an issue where hatch patterns from linked underlay elements were printing but not displayed.
    • Corrects an issue causing some wall tags and duct tags to not print during batch plot.
    • Corrects an issue where printing the visible portion of window while a non-rectangular crop region is defined causes model geometry to disappear.
  • Schedule
    • Renames "Standard" from the schedules formatting tab to "No calculation".
    • Corrects an issue in which Revit hangs when editing a text parameter in the schedule if the drop-down list contains an empty line.
    • Improves stability when editing text in schedule.
  • Stair
    • Improves stability when placing stairs in floor plan views.
  • User Interface
    • Allows the column width of the type properties dialog to continue to be adjustable.
    • Corrects an issue that could cause Revit to hang when the focus is switched to a dialog.
    • Corrects an issue when using properties dialog in group edit mode.
    • Improves stability when launching tools from the Quick Access Toolbar while working in Family Editor.
    • Improves stability when exiting Revit during startup.

    • Improves stability when editing a wall assembly.
